Behavior problems such as fearfulness, aggression, excessive barking, jumping up, housesoiling, pulling and separation anxiety are just some of the issues dealt with in private sessions. For those with a new puppy or a rescue, a private session will give you a wealth of information that addresses everything from housebreaking, crate training, diet (including proper chew toys), exercise and leash walking techniques to commands such as come, sit, down and stay. A private session is also beneficial as a preventative measure for behavioral problems before they have an opportunity to develop.

Private sessions are conducted at your home and are an intensive one-on-one lasting 1 1/2 hours. Whether meeting because you just acquired a new puppy or the dog you have is exhibiting undesirable behavior, everything is covered to get you and your dog moving in the right direction.

Rescues (whether pure breed or mixed) have special needs of their own. Unlike dogs obtained through breeders or friends, we rarely, if ever, have any knowledge of their training history, socialization or behavioral issues.

In any case, the most important rule to remember is to begin training immediately!
